An uplifting essential oil with a distinctive herbaceous and woody scent that blends well with most essential oils.
Clary sage was used and highly esteemed as a herbal remedy in the Middle Ages and used in perfumes for the aristocracy. It is similar to garden sage, known for its cooling effect in hot conditions.
Often recommended and used as an oil to help get through transitional periods, from labour to menopause.
Why is our Clary Sage oil so great?
Our Clary Sage comes from Russia (via France), which is the most important producer of Clary Sage. This herb grows up to 120cm in height. It has white flowers which vary in colour from pale blue or lavender pink.
Our oil is extracted from the Clary Sage flower by steam distillation. The oil has a distinctive herbaceous, earthy, slightly floral scent.

How to use
Clary Sage Essential Oil blends well with essential oils in the citrus, floral, herbaceous and wood families.
